www.principaltravel.com
I have pictures of most resorts in Mexico Resort Areas (expecially Cancun and the Mayan Riviera).
Also descriptions of tours.
Book with an agent that specializes in Mexico and who knows the resorts. Question them extensively. If Funjet or Apple Vacations are in your area, look for a 500 Club Member or Golden Apple Award Agency.

The absolutely most informative site I've found about the Pacific coast of Mexico is <tomzap.com> I relied on it heavily to plan a recent trip to Huatulco.
