2. For guide

3. For tour leader

4. Taxi

1. Dinner 15 to 20% unless it's a very low cost café such as Pozole Alley in Zihua then more.Average bill there is around $3.
2. N/A Never use them
3. N/a Never go on tours
4. Zero unless he preforms a special service such as unloading groceries. Makes a special stop Etc.
5. Hair & nails. Same as states, Bellhop $1 per bag, Doorman perhaps 100 pesos ($10) a week, Maid 30 pesos a day per person in a room. In a condo or villa I tip 150 pesos per cleaning but that also includes laundry.

I would tip just like you would anywhere else.

I think each country is different. I went to Italy and tipped all the way. Always wondering why the waiter was so nice after I sign the check...

but I think this question is Mexico :-)

15-20% at restaurants

I leave the maid 20-30 peso each day

I do give taxi drivers a small bit extra, if they are espeically nice &/or their fare is lower than usual for the route

Tip change into the tips jar at the launderia

Never been on a guided/tour; don't know

Some restaurants include the tip (propina) in the check so you need to make sure that it's not included before you include it or you may be tipping twice.
