Is anyone been in Mexico riviera Maya? How do you like this place?

It is a wonderful area. Beautiful beaches, ruins to explore, good snorkeling, zip lining, good food, and the locals are very friendly.

We have vacationed there for the past 8 years. It's wonderful, but the Riviera Maya covers about 100 miles, with many different kinds of towns, from very busy to very quiet. Go to locogringo.com for lots of info.

We have been several times over the past 13 years. Usually, once per year. It's our favorite place to vacation due to low prices, easy to get to and great things to see and do.

There are a few people on this forum that live there part time. What are you looking for specifically and we can provide recommendations.

We spent several days on the Mayan Riveria a few months ago and really enjoyed it - can't wait to go back :) We stayed along Tulum beach, which was perfect for us. This is an area with a gorgeous beach lined with small hotels and restaurants. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Another place that I want to visit in that area is Isla Holbox, which is a bit north, northwest of Cancun.
