Mexico itinerary for July - grateful for comments
 

Planning 2 week stay (last 2 weeks in July). Fly into Mexico City
Would then like to stay at Villa del Sol for possibly 6 nights (may go inclusive of breakfast & dinner....but are there other restaurants nearby?). Is there enough to do in this area for 6 nights?

Would then like another 6 nights at El Tamarindo in Manzanillo. Have no idea how to travel from Mex. City to these resorts and how to travel between them - is it better to fly/hire car/hire driver/guide. Any help/advice gratefully received!

Where is Villa del Sol located? It would probably be impractical to hire a car/driver to drive from Mexico City to coastal resorts. Suggest looking into airfare, or bus service.

I think you're referring to Villa del Sol in Zihuatanejo. The best way to get there is to fly from Mexico City to Zihuatanejo.

I haven't stayed at Villa del Sol, but I know there are lots of restaurants in the area.

You should definitely fly to Zihua from Mexico City (VDS is indeed in Zihua). DON'T get the meal plan, the food is the weakest part of VDS. There are plenty of restaurants on the beach or in town, even some in Ixtapa (10 miles away) which would be worth trying.
You could drive from Zihua to Manzanillo or take a bus. It would take 3-4 hours one way.
