Mexico - in the summer???

Hi,

My husband is a teacher and we find the only time we can get away anywhere for a decent amount of time is in the summer. We are wondering if anyone out there has pros and cons of vacationing a PDC in the summer. We are divers as well - is it OK to dive in the summer there? Thanks for any info!!!

I don't know which part of summer you're referring to, early or late summer, but I was in PDC in August. Yes, it was very hot and sticky, but the pools and ocean are perfect for cooling off! The diving at this time is supposed to be great because summer has the calmest water. Go for it!

Hi Lisa,

Although summer can be hot, its also one of my favorite times of year in Tankah. I spent 2 weeks in July and we not only had turtles nesting on our beach, but the water was great, very warm and I spent hours snorkeling. http://mywebpage.netscape.com/Tankah3G/turtleocean2.jpg
The cenote up the beach from me, was abloom with beautiful, fragrant orchids which attach themselves to the surrounding mangrove. I have never seen these wonderful flowers in bloom any other time of year.

We have air conditioning at night for your sleeping comfort and plenty of shade provided by our outside palapa roofs and palm trees. Right now we are running a summer/fall special and I will honor the sale price for anyone booking now for next summer.

You can visit the web sites below for more pictures and info.
http://CasaTropical.com
Photo Album of Casa Tropical
http://community.webshots.com/album/21853140fZQuralFFw
