Mexico City Hotels

Going to Mexico City next week. In past trips we've stayed at the Majestic, but this time we thought we'd try the Polanco area. I have reservations at the JW Marriott, but noticed that the Camino Real and the Four Seasons are offering special rates that would drop the cost by a third! Any feedback on these two hotels? Marriott worth the premium?

Thanks

I'm considering a trip to Mexico City and I, too, am interested in this info.

Do the Camino Real. I lived in Mexico and it's situated in a better area (not too noisy but still in a central location). This is where Mel Gibson stayed when he was interviewing extras for his film Apocalyptico.

I would pick the Camino Real over the JW Marriott, even without the travel deal....don't get me wrong, the JW Marriott is beautiful, but the location and atmosphere around the Camino Real is better in my opinion.

Thanks. I was leaning that way.

If you haven't been yet, I encourage you to give it a try. A really exciting city.

Consider Priceline. The JW Marriott has been going for $75.00. Check out biddingfortravel.com. ((*))
