Mexico City Gran Melia Reforma Hotel

Hola! Has anyone stayed at the Gran Melia Reforma Hotel in Mexico City lately? Is it in a good location to see the major sites? Nearby restaurants? I did a search, but the last post on this hotel was three years ago.

Adios,
Mrs. E Worthington-Manville

We stayed there in January, a fairly easy walk to the Zocalo. A bit too far for an easy walk to other sites. The local area is a bit dodgy at night, there are hotel based restaurants nearby but not too many of the independant type. The hotel itself is very good, comfortable and the service prompt. But if you close your eyes you could be in Vancouver, Sydney,Chicago, Singapore or anywhere else, its that sort of 4/5 star hotel that is generic.
A very nice pool and Gym !!

Thank you, Marko. I trust your opinion because I enjoy reading what you write here about Istanbul.
