merida accomodation

Can anyone recommend a mid-range hotel or B&B in Merida? Planning to go for a few days in February or 2003. Looking at around the $60.00 or $70.00 price range for a double. A pool would be a benefit too! Many thanks

I really am aware of only two and not real sure about the prices. Both are located in the centro, which is a great location. Both hotels are very old and alot of history. One is the Grand Hotel and the other is the Casa de labalm, I think or something like that. Have you come across any information on these two. E-mail me if you want.

Your best bet is Hotel Medio Mundo...they have a website at hotelmediomundo.com...Nelson and Nicole run a first class place with a great pool.

Y'all might want to specify whether you're talking about Merida, Mexico or Venezuela. This is really confusing. I'm researching lodging in Merdia Venezuela and was looking at the Medio Mundo. That could have turned out bad.
