Mendoza, AR City Hotels & Rafting Options

We will be heading to Mendoza in a few weeks and our "in city" options are NH Cordilla, Huentala Boutique Hotel or Park Suites (not Park Hyatt, too pricey). Which has the best location for restaurants, bars, strolling as well as hotel comforts.
Also, we are debating whether to raft in Mendoza area or when we head closer to San Juan? Which has the best rafting and what company do you recommend? Thanks!

Urbana suites are also a good option.

Hello kacollier:

We visited Mendoza for about a week in March.

I can not advise you on the hotel but I can tell you that we had a very good expeience with Huentata. We took their high mountain tour and based on that, highly recommend them.

The tour agent we had in Mendoza was pretty bad. Baco Tours. In our case, they were untruthful and not dependable.

Hope this is of some help to you.
