Maroma Hotel
 

Does anyone have any information on the Maroma Hotel on maroma beach in the Playa Del Car area south of Cancun. It was highly recomended and very romantic and intimate?

It was on the travel channel last night. They have a website www.maroma-mexico.com. Their rates looked very high.

I just one a 6 night stay at Maroma on Luxury Link's Best shot auction. The price I purchased the package for was very reaonable (in my opinion). I noticed it is listed again slightly higher than what I purchased it for. I've made my reservation for July and everyone I spoke to at the Hotel was very nice. There is a real-time movie on their web site but the picture is so small its very tough to get alot of detail.

Where is the review? Under "Reviews" for Maroma I just saw Travel Channel's for Feb 2002 & then one from 2000.

To nikkit, if you are a commercial entity associated with the <BR>i-escape.com website, you might want to proof your copy before putting it on the site of a VERY expensive resort. Just the errors I noticed were under the Eating page; it's cochinita (not conchinita) pibil and you should probably learn the term Yucatecan (rather than Yucatanean) to describe items associated with that area.

Thanks for spotting the spelling mistakes, have made the corrections. I have worked for free for the last two years, so apologies for the occasional mistake.

Nikkit I'm concerned about the "con" listed on i-escapes home page of Maroma. The comment regarding the new club-med nearby. Could you help me with this? How close is the new club med? Are guests of this Hotel allowed on the beach of the Maroma Hotel? Thanks, Chris.
