Hi fellow DCer - how can I access the first installments of your BA trip report? I'm very interested in BA, but only see weeks 3 and 4 of your report. Assume you give some info on where you stayed etc in the first installments. .. .

The first year (2 weeks) we stayed at the Melia Recoleta Hotel before our trip to Iguazzu, and then a large, chain hotel near Calle Florida for the last night of our trip. We loved the Melia - and La Recoleta - and Buenos Aires - and Argentina - and, and, and....oh yes, we were hooked.

The second year, we returned for a month and rented a wonderful apartment on Callao and Pacheco de Melo in La Recoleta. We had been actively working on other apartment rentals through various companies when our choice fell through-after having secured flights! I posted my sorrows on TA and a reliable poster on TA and Fodors contacted me about his own apt. It was a match made in...Recoleta. The apartment was gorgoeus, perfectly located and secure. This year we are renting a smaller apt. nearby, through BA Habitat who have been excellent to work with, so far. We are planning a trip to the NOA.
