Manzanillo, Celestun, or Tulum? Which is best for seclusion and snorkeling?

Manzanillo, Celestun, or Tulum? Which is best for seclusion and snorkeling?
I am looking at El Tamarindo-Manzanillo, Hotel Eco Paraiso Xixim-celestun, and Cababas la Conchita-Tulum. I would prefer a secluded beach and some good snorkeling. Any help would be great.<BR><BR>Thanks!

Although I prefer the Pacific side of Mexico, the snorkeling is better on the other coast. There are great snorkel sites from Cancun(def. skip that) all the way to Tulum. I am quite fan of the Tamarindo and think you would love it--wonderful property with very private beach, but the Caribbean water is much bluer and clearer.

Check out some of the threads on Tamarindo. Pretty much anything by me has info on Tamarindo. Like arriba said i've heard that the snorkeling is better in other places, but if you want seclusion, this is the place for you.
