Manuel Antonio Weather - June/July

OK, so I know it is the rainy season and I see that it averages 25+ inches of rain per month, but I ahve been to plenty of places during the rainy season and had wonderful weather. I guess my question is whether or not the rainy season means that it is likely to rain real hard for an hour or so each day and be sunny for a good chunk of the day, or whether it means that it will be rainy off an on the whole time. Essentially, would my teenage daughters be able to enjoy some beach time in the sun?

We've been in July, and it was really hot, in the 90s, with afternoon showers. We were able to do activities in the morning, eat lunch, and then relax at the hotel during the afternoon rain. It usually cleared up by dinner. Not always predictable though.

June is a good month to visit CR, as volcanogirl said, the pattern is a sunny morning and some rain during afternoons. The weather will not ruin your trip, during June rainy season is not as bad as it is during the months of September and October. Hope this helps!

I agree that June is a good month to visit - It is not overwhelmingly hot and if there are showers are rather short.

We enjoyed beach time in june and March in CR- Los Suenos area.
