Mango Moon--Help!
 

Does anyone have an alternate phone number to this B&B?? I've been trying to confirm my reservation for the past two days and can't get through by phone or email. It's crunch time here.

We stayed at Mango Moon on Nov. 25-26 with two small children. The owners were away on a trip and the service was less than stellar (we were served left-overs for breakfast on the second morning!). The views are gorgeous but be careful on the "trail" (needs major maintenance) and at the pool - there is construction next to the pool with rebar sticking up next to the slippery tiles of the deck.

They charged our credit card for one night a month before we arrived - they've probably done this to you as well .... maybe your credit card company has a number for them? Hopefully your experience will be better than ours was....this was our least favorite place during our ten-day stay in Costa Rica.

Sorry, got cut off there. Just wanted to add that so far they have been very pleasant to deal with. We're hoping for the best! Will let everyone know how it goes.

I know, sorry. And we're not picky travellers, either ... we loved every other place we stayed, especially Hacienda Baru (spiders and all).

Hopefully the owners will return soon.

There are a few trip reports here with info. on Mango Moon . Basically all positive , you could do a search . Too bad your stay was not pleasant , indeed a lot of the positive comments were for the owners ......( as well as the hotel ) . It would not hurt to let them know ...?

We did hear from MM first thing this morning. Sorry to be so panicky (we leave in 12 hours). Can't wait!
