mail in costa rica
 

People say el correo from Costa Rica is slow, but I just received word that a postcard I mailed in La Fortuna in mid-February arrived in Ohio today, June 11. So never give up hope.

Hey! That might have set a record! :)

While in San Jose I mailed post cards to the usual nieces and nephews not one was recieved. I was really bummed and almost emailed the postal service there. But maybe there is hope.

I mailed them through the front desk a the Hotel I was staying at, I was hoping by doing that they'd make it to Detroit. Yeah, right.

Who ever toll you that really knows about our Correos nacionales...they really are the worst...but some times it works...!!

I mailed some postcards at the post office in La Fortuna...I was kind of worried about the men standing at the doorway with rifles and shotguns, but mailed the postcards anyway. They arrived at their destination about 2 weeks later! I was impressed. :-)
