Machu Picchu Guide

We are going to Macchu Picchu in August. Can you obtain a guide on the grounds and any idea what the cost would be? Thanks. Ed Zelniker. [email protected]

Yes, guides are available on site. There are regular organized tours. A Private guide should be about $30.

We are staying at the Hotel San Agustin in Cuzco and the Hotel Antigua Miraflores in Miraflores. We were told not to stay in Lima Central that it was too dangerous. Good Luck.

Mr. Zelniker, or anyone with the experience, will you tell me how much per day your hotels cost? Also, in a given day, how much American dollars would you spend on food? Did you have a nice time in August?

For a good listing of hotels in Lima, search Expedia.
