MA eat out or stay in?
I was talking to some friends who went to MA over xmas and were staying at Buena vista (loved it incidentally). They hired a local chef service and loved it. They had younger kids so going out may not have been that pleasurable to begin with.
We have an option to do the same and it sounds pretty tempting, after hearing about some of the menus. I don't mind the thought of enjoying the view from my own place vs. trekking about. But will I miss a gastronomic delight? If so, what's a don't miss? It's almost embarrassing these lofty decisions. cheers |
Just tell the chef you want to experience a little "comida tipica" and he'll serve you up plenty of Gallo Pinto--rice and beans. I'd be lost in CR without GP 3 times a day! :)

I'm hungry already - and the best restaurant options in MA?
do you find you lose or gain on a CR vacation? |
I was wondering if I could get more information on hiring the Chef service for the MA area. We will be staying at a Buena Vista Casa starting on Feb 22 for 4 nights. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the name of the people we have lined up and their website. We know another family that used their services and were very pleased.
