Luxury Hotels in Buzios - please help!?!?!
My husband and I are looking for a place to stay in Buzios after visiting Rio. We found a few places that look amazing and secluded and would love to hear some feedback. We usually follow Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report's suggestions, but I am not sure he has been to Buzios. We looked up Casas Brancas, but did not see any photo of the pool... can anyone tell me how it is? And anyone have any feedback on these hotels: Boca do Céu - http://www.bocadoceu.com/english/home.html, La Soberana - http://www.buziosonline.com.br/lasoberana/ or Vila d' Este - http://www.viladeste.com.br/
We are looking for a luxurious boutique hotel with a great pool and views... we will have a rental car to go to beaches (btw - how is beach parking?), so prefer a good view and seclusion to a happening beach front hotel. We would appreciate ANY feedback we can get. God bless you! |
The view at Casas Brancas is good, the pool is extremely small, but good enough to cool yourself off, I think Buzios is more about the beach than the pool. Collona park also has great views but is on a beach, casas brancas is not on a beach but if you have a car then you can go to any beach, parking is available. Casas brancas is about a 5 min walk to town, collona park is about a 10 min walk to town.

Please let me know what you discover. We just recently returned from Rio and loved it. We are planning a return trip but, want to spend a few days in Buzios at a luxury spot, or as near to it as we can get. I also saw Casa Branca but was wondering it there are other options. Thanks.
