Luggage on Interbus

My friend and I have reservations with Interbus to travel in Costa Rica. Interbus allows one piece of luggage and one carry-on. What size do they allow for the carry-on? Is it the same as most airlines' limits? or is it the size of a woman's purse? I travel light but in two small suitcases because I can't lift a large suitcase and need to carry my own luggage. Both of my suitcases fit airlines' definition of a carry-on but I'm worried about Interbus's definition. I've emailed Interbus with this question but haven't had a response from them yet.

You should have no problem. They don't have rigid guidelines.

I agree with Andrea. If your things adhere to the airline rules, you'll def. be fine on Interbus. I used them a couple of times in '05 and they were nowhere near as rigid or strict as some of the airlines are.

Thank you! Our trip is all planned but that little detail was really bothering me.

We used Interbus in August '10 and had no problem. I was more worried about if they really show up...but of course, they did :-)
