Looking for restaurant in Playa del Carmen

My husband and I will be leaving for the Aventura Spa Place next week but would like a recommendation on a good restaurant in PDC

Our favorite restaurant in PDC was Yaxche - it is Mayan food - very delicious. Visit www.mayacuisine.com for more info.

We liked Hemingway's very much-great service and yummy food-on the newer end of Ave 5. Across the street is a place called (if I can remember) Captain Jacks and Son. They give you free coconut shrimp to get you do eat at their establishment (yummy but a lil spendy). For a not so fancy but really good breakfast try the Blue Parrot.
:)L

Put in my vote for Yaxche too!
Try the chipotle mashed potatoes - heaven!
It's very romantic for dinner.
For lunch, I like La Parilla - especially their brochetes (meat and vegetable kabobs).
