Looking for AI package

I need help finding a deal. We've found ourselves with a week's vacation and no trip planned. Trying to book air now is far to pricey so I thought perhaps a last minute package deal might be just the thing. I always read about them and wish I could take the time off to do one. Now here we are and I'm having a hard time finding anything that's within our price range $2000 - $2500 for the week. I've looked at all the usual suspects - Expedia, Orbitz, etc - and haven't found anything that fits us. I feel like I'm missing some consolidators. I thought I might find some deals with tours using charter air but I'm not finding any of those - or I am and I'm not aware of it. We want to be on the beach, would like to do AI for the first time, flying out of BOS. Don't even care if it's Mexico, just happens to be a place we haven't been and the Caribbean is pretty packed due to the Cricket tournement. We can go either the week of 4/25 or 4/21. Maybe I'm expecting too much? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks,

Not sure if they fly out of your area, but try www.funjet.com.

Look at Apple Vacations. I just did a quick search and several options in Mexico in your price range. The flight times were bad though. I only checked on day, maybe there are direct charters other days.

Don`t know where you live, but TNT vacations flies out of Boston. My sister always uses them and goes to the DR.

Go to www.gwvtravel.com. They have charters that go out of Boston to several places on Saturday and Sunday of every week. Stay 7 nights and return the following Saturday or Sunday. They have a 800 phone number you can call and book your trip. Don't even need a travel agent. We have used them several times and never had a problem. We usually book a few days before departure and the tickets are waiting for us at the ticket counter.
