lodging in lima and cuzco, peru
 

can someone suggest a moderately priced place to stay our first night in lima--since we are arriving very late. also, would love a suggestion or two for small, inexpensive hotels in cuzco.

I'd recommend looking into places in the Miraflores area in Lima (if you do an online search for "Miraflores lodging Peru" you can find quite a few) then search on Fodors for recommendations. You can save some money by staying in the heart of Lima, but the accommodations are bare bones.

In Cuzco I'd recommend Emperador Plaza - reasonably priced, very clean, quiet location, just off the main square.

We stayed at the Antigua Miraflores and loved it.

pdal, why are you dragging up ancient postings to pump Los Ninos? Just saying it's looking a little suspicious.
