Lobster season?

When is lobster season in Belize? I'm hoping we will be able to catch and eat some in June.

Lobster season reopens June 15, so if you're arriving in the last half of the month you'll be able to enjoy lobster ... until Feb. 15 2006.

There are lobster festivals early in the season in Placencia and Caye Caulker.

Does the same apply to lobster season in Costa Rica as well??
If so, is it only on the Carib side? Are prices usually cheaper in restaurants during the season? mmmmmmmm

Sonme rstaurants in Belize are licensed to sell lobsters caught and frozen before the end of the season.

Sorry, I must not have been clear...I was referring to actually eating lobster in seafood restaurants, etc. I was wondering what the prices were like, if they were cheaper during the lobster season. But besides, we are going to be in CR, not belize.

You should post your Costa Rica question on the Costa Rica section. I'm not really sure, but I don't think there is the same kind of lobster season in Costa Rica as in Belize.
