BUMP!
Help! Need Info
|
I have not stayed at either place but I am familiar with Zamas. I have eaten at the restaurant many times and the meals are great at a moderate price. The menu offers a great variety including fantastic pizzas from a wood fired oven!
Their lodging facilities seem to be nice and a bit upscale compared to the palapa cabanas of the area. I think their beach is one of the worst in the area. It is pretty rocky and a road runs directly behind it. Very different from the more secluded, beautiful sandy beaches of other places nearby.

Do you still need info? I have stayed at Las Ranitas many times, and eaten at Zamas many times. One of the main differences is the beach: at Zamas, you have a small crescent with some rocky outcroppings. At Las Ranitas, you have a long long stretch of beach for walking on. I can say more if you are still interested -- do you have specific questions?
