Kanantik Reef and Jungle Resort or Turtle Inn?
My husband and I are planning a 35th anniversary trip next January. We want to stay in luxury at a resort with pool and on the beach. Other activities would be great- not scuba though- snorkel yes. Has anyone been to Kanantik resort?- more info to had on Turtle Inn. Help appreciated.

TI gets rave reviews and they've recently brought in a new chef to tweak the kitchen. Both have a pool, TI does not have a/c. Kanantik on a huge property, jungle to beach, lots of space between cabanas, very remote, private airstrip. Can't tell you about current staff/mgmt or recent guest comments, but sure Lan can. I never could figure out this place. But very pretty.

I have stayed at both Kanantik and Turtle Inn and like them both, though I personally prefer Turtle Inn.
Kanantik is an all-inclusive and in a fairly isolated area between Placencia and Hopkins, so you'll be spending all your time at this resort rather than dining around.
It just depends on what you want.
All the feedback I've gotten on Kanantik has been positive. Nearly all I've gotten on Turtle Inn has been positive.
