A couple of questions:
How is the ocean there - rough or good swimming ?
Any snorkeling ?
Does the resort have any rooms with Sofa beds ?
Are mosquitos a problem ?
Do you know how far the resort is from Tulum ?
Thanks in advance

Hi Jean,

The ocean is very nice but somewhat rocky in certain areas. Lots of people were swimming in it. I didn't do any snorkeling but I hear it's great. I don't know about the sofa beds in the rooms, we had two double beds in our room. No mosquitos (I was there from November 17th until the 25th) but I would still recommend bringing mosquito stuff just in case. I believe the resort is about an hour to Tulum.

Hope this helps!

i was there end of july. first night i went out had mosquito bites all over me! I never got as many mosquito bites in my life!did not like the swimming, the yellow and red flags up a lot, only small portion where you can swim. overall wasn't too impressed with resort, to top it off i know maids stole my make up bag with all my "essentials" in it, and i know i left in bathroom, when we checked out i thought my daughter had grabbed it. took one day trip to playa del carmen, beautiful turquoise colered water, unlike the bahia area.
