Here are a few photos. Still have to get the photos from our friend's camera--they have most of our wildlife shots and the photos taken through the scope. I have never used this link--hope it works.

Up early, about 5 am--the monkeys are loud this morning. I walk a short way on the Creek Trail and watch them. I walk over, get coffee and then sit on the deck, enjoying the morning.

We linger over breakfast, macaws fly across the yard in front of the dining area. You never have to go far to see those beautiful birds.

We head over to the Trogon Trail and enjoy our morning hike. Back for lunch and then the Saino Trail--or as I mentioned earlier, the just Say No Trail. They actually had been clearing areas of this trail, there were a lot trees that had fallen on this trail the week before. The staff seems to do an amazing job keeping the trails passable. One guest had been on this trail earlier in the week and did get nervous when he came to an area of downed trees. It was getting late in the day, he had gone a long way on the trail, but had to turn back. It gets dark early here and he wanted to be off this trail before dark. He told the staff about the fallen trees and they were out the next day clearing the trail. It did seem like a long trail. There were several times that we headed down to the creek bed and then back up. It seemed like we finally had to be done heading down to that creek bed, but we would start down again--not bad except everytime you headed down, you had to go back up. We were ready to just go and sit at the pool.

Which we did. We enjoyed the rest of the afternoon sitting by the pool. Drink of the day, Imperials, afternoon cookie, reading. 2 coatis were playing on the grass. One just stopped and stared at me as I watched it--then headed over to the tree.

Our final happy hour---we see monkeys on the trees and vines below the deck. They head over toward Mariposa.

Our final candlelight dinner, soup, salad, wonderful vegetables, red snapper, chicken and banana splits.
