Jewish tours of Buenos Aires
Any recommendations for this? A while back in the Jewish newspaper here there was a travel report about a BA tour with a local Jewish man. I don't think he was affiliated with any tour company; he seemed to be a solo, independant guide. If I recall correctly, he also was not terribly expensive. Unfortunately, I can't find the article.
I read a posting by Dr. Dawggy recommending Eternautas. Their website isn't loading, but I think I read that their specialty tours are pretty pricey.
Does anyone know of other tours or tour guides?

Hi Mona.
Perhaps this link will help. Though I don't think its the guy you refer to.
http://www.jewish-tours.com.ar/news/newsb
Here is another
http://1stclassargentina.com/tours/1...enosAires.html
There is alot of good info in that site - but the tours again look a bit pricey.
On TA one of the posters NYgaby told about a tour he took by a private local guide.
Hope this helps a bit.

Shalom Salito!
I read the travel article from the Canadian Jewish News in which you were mentioned. Your tour sounded wonderful.
I contacted your agency about your prices and unfortunately the rates are quite steep.
I am waiting to hear back as to whether any other couples are interested in sharing a tour on the same dates as us.
Hopefully we can meet after all!
In the meantime, if you have any tips for independent travellers seeking out a Jewish experience in BA, those would be much appreciated!

Mona Shalom
What do you think if we talk about your Jewish Buenos Aires tour by private email?
The chance to share a private tour and convert it into a general tour is open, depending of course if there are others guests interested in the same day and time.
About your comments about the tour I gave to the journalist who wrote the article my best, I always give on my tours, all my experience, all I have to offer my visitors.
Kind regards
Salito
