Hello experts,
We will be visiting BA in February (possibly the beginning of March), and plan to stay 1 week. We also want to visit Iguazu Falls. 2 nights or three - any suggestions, and is it a mistake to overnight the whole time on the Argentina side? The Secret Garden B&B was highly recommended there. The last piece is what seems to veer off from the standard itinerary. We'd like to visit Rio. But, is this just too much to do all at once? Should we stay closer, in Argentina, and save Rio for another trip? Our entire trip will be up to three weeks. Any suggestions/advice will be greatly appreciated!

I just back back from almost 7 days in BA. I wanted to get to Iguazu but due to school holidays there, most of the flights were sold out. But, it would have been VERY rushed to to BA and Iguazu in one week. We did go to Coloniz (uruguay) for one day. I think you need at least 4-5 days to do all of BA.

With 3 weeks youŽll have plenty of time to visit Rio. One week in BA is OK, 2/3 nights in Iguazu Falls is OK too, I donŽt think you should move to one side to the other and IŽm pretty sure you wonŽt regret visiting Rio.

Thanks for the advice. So, is a week the right time in Rio? One week there, one week in BA, and 2 nights at the Falls? Is there one last stop you'd suggest?

Lizzie 17, what were the highlights of your time in BA? We are thinking of an itinerary of Rio, Buzios (beach in Brazil), then BA; but we only have about 9 days! And from these posts, it looks like we are being way overambitious!! I am also wondering if we should pick one of the two cities and one another different type of destination. We will be going in early November, which will be different season than you just had down there.
