Itinerary help
 

We'll have six days in early May for Monteverde, Montezuma and La Paz Waterfalls/Volcan Poas. We'll be leaving from Manuel Antonio.

Where should we go first, and what is the best way to get from one place to the other? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think I would rent a car and go MA - Montezuma via ferry from Puntarenas - and then back toward SJ and the other attractions you mention.

Sorry I neglected the Monteverde portion of your trip - that would be after Montezuma and before the return to SJ. Montezuma is a bit out of the way for you but do-able. Check the map, you will see what I mean.

If you go to Monteverde, have a good 4WD vehicle.
