Isle Mujeres on 3 day Cancun Trip?
We are going to be in Cancun for 3 nights. Is Isle Mujeres worth it considering how little time we have?

Isla Mujeres is a great little town and Playa Norte can't be beat for beautiful water and calm swimming. Nice little bars on the beach, best snorkling in the area....most will tell you it's certainly worth a day trip, at least. You may even find you like it better than the built up concrete Cancun.<BR>Have fun.

One of my most memorable experiences from my past trip was renting a scooter in Isla Mujeres and driving around the whole island. Halfway through we stopped at a restaurant on the beach and hung out with locals. The island is small and you can go around in about an hour if without stopping.

It depends what you're looking for. If you want some inexpensive shopping and small cafes, it's a nice place to go. Very tame nightlife. Beaches are clothing optional. I have been to Cancun and Isla, so if I had 3 days, I would say Isla is worth it!

I think it would be worth seeing. Just take the ferry. You can walk around the town & hang at the beach. If you are adventurous, rent a golf cart and drive around the whole 5 miles. (or take a taxi). Stop at Playa Lancheros Beach for the famous BBQ fish. (tik n chik) will feed 5 for $20.US . May want to snorkle at Garrafon & check out view from Punta Sur. Above all make sure you find out what time last ferry leaves from Isla. There are some Beach Bars serving up 2 for 1 happy hour margaritas that may make you miss the boat.
