Isango tours for Iguazu
 

Anyone ever heard of Isango tours. We are thinking of booking through them. They offer pick up at hotel in Iguazu, entry into park and the tour is: Argentina Side of Iguazu Falls with boat ride to Devil's Throat. Start time is at 8AM and theysay total tour is about 7 hours, with motor boat/zodiac traversing Iguazu river and walk catwalks. Their price is $56.25 per person. Comments anyone!! Jay that sounds ok. I don't remember what we paid, but we were staying at the Sheraton and I think we paid close to that.
And you will be picked up at your hotel.
The motor boat won't really be that long...then you will do the walking on your own, I would think. DO try to get out to the end on the train and do the catwalk thing... it's a MUST.

You said you were on a cruise, correct? Did you book tours through the ship or did you find private operators in the various ports? I feel that the cruise line rips youi off on these ship sponsored tours.

No, No , I wasn't on a cruise Jay.
We were staying in an apartment in Buenos Aires, and took an over night bag and flew to Iguazu for one night.
But previously I've been on a cruise and their tours are SO expensive. Sometimes much better to grab a cab and do your own thing, when possible.
The ships tours are way overpriced.

Entry to the park is 60 pesos for foreigners. The bus to the park entrance is 5 pesos (with one change of bus). It really is very easy to DIY (and cheaper). The boat rides etc can be arranged when you are inside the park. Have fun, it is an amazing sight. PS A trip to the Brazilian sid of the falls is well worth it!
