Iquaza Falls Info
I forgot to ask, how does travel from Buenos Aires to Iquaza Falls work? If airplane, should I get the tickets from here? Or, drive, etc..
Thanks! |
Depends on your timing. You can fly there easily. You could drive, or, if you're going to go by land, more preferably, take one of the long distance bus lines. By land it's a 17-18 hour trip, but you'll get to see a lot of the country.
At the moment, the falls are supposedly lacking a bit in water... |
Unfortunately I don't have time for land travel since our entire trip is 7-9 days to Argentina. So, for air travel should I be getting the tickets from here in L.A.? (I have no idea.) Thanks!

You should be aware that Varig Airlines continues to experience major delays & cancellations in both domestic & international service...Since Varig is a major player in Brazil, other carriers are very heavily booked and many routes are quite expensive or sold out...I would encourage you to check on & confirm flights to the Falls ASAP...I would not wait until I got to Brazil...and I would not book Varig at this time...Trust me...I know from experience...I am sitting home reading about Brazil instead of sightseeing in Brazil because of Varig cancellations!

OOOPs...Just realized you are going to the Argentine side of the falls....so you may not have flight issues with Varig...Still, I would arrange flights before departing for Argentina.
Bon voyage!!! |
We got our Aerolineas Argentinas flights for the end of October on 18 July and noticed a couple flights were sold out of the lowest cost seats.
