Interest in Costa Rica for 30th
Hello!
I am looking to planning a trip for my 30th and I've been saying for years now that id love to visit Costa Rica. It's not the only place on my list but it is the first I'm looking into. It's also possible I'd be going solo. I am pretty laid back, i'd like some place with beautiful scenery and relaxtion and of course beautiful beaches. As well as having the option to go out and explore/hike since i love the outdoors. I enjoy nightlife and live music but not so much the clubbing scene. When i am relaxing I would like to be surrounded by nice digs. So I don't want anything run down but nothing super luxurious either. Great food is also a plus. I'm not sure what else i am missing. This is really my first time planning a trip. Any suggestions would be wonderful. |
The Mot Mot Hideaway at Tulemar Bungalows is really nice and would be the perfect size for you. Manuel Antonio has tons to do, a beautiful beach, and lots of great restaurants. Lots of wildlife like monkeys on the property.

Honestly, not sure that CR is the best match for that wish list. There aren't any great beach + hiking places. Manuel Antonio comes closest, but there's no hiking or exploration--just a small park with paths wide enough to drive cars on the,, with animals extremely habituated to people--pretty much everything is served up to you there. Which isn't a bad thing, but it's not the same as going out and finding them for yourself either.

The Tulemar property has 33 acres that you can hike. A lot of it is undeveloped. We saw monkeys, sloths, and cool birds like an aracari there. I still think it's a good bet for you. To me, it's kind of the best of both worlds. The park itself is very popular, but it's beautiful, and the beach there is fantastic. I also like that there are several restaurants that are walkable from the property including Barba Roja, Cafe Agua Azul, Kapi Kapi, and others. Here's a link so you can see if it's your kind of place.

I think Manuel Antonio is great...The National Park is beautiful and YES, you can do hiking ( easy to moderate level).
Guanacaste has great beaches too. Enjoy! |
