Info on Royal Hideaway Playacar
 

My husband and I are thinking of staying at the RH in december 2000 for 5 days. From all the reviews I've read it sounds like the food and service is wonderful. My main concerns is if it is very european and does it have topless or nude bathing. <BR>Also, we want to spend a day on cozumel to snorkle and do the nite life there. How far away is that and do the ferries run til late? <BR>Do you see any wildlife there such as monkeys? Also, is there a swim-up bar? <BR>What is the best room to book... like to be close to things, but also like privacy... <BR>Thanks for any info you can provide!

I don't know what your question is about "very european".....I saw no nude bathing.....but frankly wasn't looking.

My reason for the question about there being a lot of europeans, is that i've heard that is the case in alot of the Playa resorts. Usually that means topless and/or nude bathing and we don't want that. So we are looking for a resort that is more american. <BR>You don't have to be 'looking or staring' to know if there was of nude bathing. I'm gathering you are a european.

Tammy, I live in the NW part of the USA. <BR>We were there in October, most of the guests were either American or Canadian, they didn't appear to be a nude beach, however, some ladies did undo their tops when they were on their stomachs......Guess they wanted a good tan. It's a very nice place.
