Has any body stayed at the Costa Verde complex in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica.

Is it Clean? Are they friendly Etc.

Thanks

We stayed at Mango Moon, but Costa Verde gets very good reviews on these boards. I think it would be a safe choice.

I've stayed twice at Costa Verde, once in a Studio and once in a Studio Plus. If you can get one, I definitely say the Studio Plus is worth the extra money, the views are fantastic. I found it clean & friendly, I know some posters have found the front desk a little aloof. It's got 2 great restaurants & a couple pools as well. Nice place to stay IMHO.

We've stayed there a few times with no complaints, would return in a heartbeat.

Indeed "some" not all at the reception can be aloof, but not enough of a problem to stop us from returning.

Same here. We found MOST of the front desk "aloof", if not downright rude. I remember one very nice and helpful person. I was a little put off meeting the owner one day at breakfast who spent no small amount of time criticizing other hotel owners in Costa Rica. Had nothing nice to say about anyone!

THAT SAID, we'd return in a heartbeat too. The restaurants are good, the views from the rooms (Studio Plus) are fabulous, and the wildlife right there with ya. All in all, a good value.

I agree with all the above. I stayed there in December 2007.. We stayed in a penthouse.. it was amazing and cheap for what we got. amazing views.. tons of wildlife on the property and good restraurants!
