If you're flying Delta, BEWARE.

I just discovered by accident that Delta has cancelled ALL direct flights from New York to San Jose. So, we were rescheduled for a flight that takes off 4 hours earlier than we had booked.

They did not notify us about this--we would have been completely screwed if I hadn't forgotten to add our FF# to the original flight and logged in to take care of that.

Wow, they're probably overbooked from so many cancelled flights you have to wonder if it was done for that reason. Good thing you checked!

I dunno. I took the refund and booked on TACA instead.

I had a similar experience with a domestic flight. Delta cancelled the entire route and DID NOT notify us. Not even a simple e-mail

Our flight from Roatan to Newark which was direct was changed to a connection. Continental didn't notify us either. They also cx one persons trip. Luckily we were able to rebook it. I think the airlines are probably overwhelmed from so many changes but I am glad I found out before I went.
