If I want to post some pictures from our recent CR trip . . .

. . . on the Internet for interested Fodorites, what site offers the most convenient way to do it? Although I've never done this before, I know others do it all the time. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I haven't tried other places but I really like shutterfly. My niece is now using it and sent me a beautiful card in the mail with several of the pictures she took on her trip down there. My sister in law used it to make a picture of her sons graduation to send to people. It is a nice outfit to just share on line or to have more permanent memories like cards albums and much more.

To share, I just send it to my email address and then copy paste the link to the place I want it such as this forum. I learned this trick thanks to a nice friend on this forum. I set up albums and then I can just send certain pictures or the whole thing if I am being lazy or don't have time to seperate pictures out. It doesn't take long but I just don't always have the extra couple of minutes it takes. I also like being able to say what the pictures are so people know what they are looking at. You can play with the pictures as well to eliminate red eye or crop just to name a couple of things.

I use http://www.worldisround.com/travel/index.html I transfer my selected pictures from Shutterfly to there, for anonymous public viewing. For instance:http://www.worldisround.com/articles/323254/index.html

If you use Chrome as your browser, the Picasa is a great free service. I believe you can use it even if you don't use Chrome but just need a gmail account.
