Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar rooms

We were thinking of staying here with 2 young children in a Junior Suite. Will this room type be big enough for all 4 of us? Is the "living area" worth the extra $ and is the sofa an actual pull-out sofa for a child to sleep on?

The Jr. "suites" are not what you think of when you think of a suite. There is NO separate room. The Jr. Suites at the Del Mar are only a few feet longer than the standard room and IMHO are not really worth the extra $$.
We have stayed with three adults in a standard room and had plenty of space. I've had friends stay four in a room with teens and they were fine also.
The sofa in our room was made up into a bed and it was big enough for an adult to sleep on.
The Del Mar is a fantastic resort.
The Jr. Suites are also far away from the lobby/restaurant area as they are right on the beach.

thanks for the tip. I can't decide between the del mar and the Paradisus riveria cancun. Any thoughts on the Paradisus?

I don't have experience with the Paradisus. I know the Iberostar is great for families and has a wonderful kids program depending on the ages of your children.

I'm booked at the Del Mar for Thanksgiving week. Any other tips/suggestions you care to share? I'll be traveling with my 5 and 2 year olds.
