Glover mentioned that you don't really see
wildlife while zipping.

Was that true for you other zippers?

That's why I'd do it, not for a ride.

There are actually several types of canopy tours. Zip lines seem to be the ones most associated with the words canopy tour by many people. They are more like an amusement ride. I don't think todays zip lines are what the scientists really had in mind when they started using them to study the forest canopys LOL.

There are slow trams that you can sit in and glide over the canopy in and hanging bridges that you walk over the canopy also.

You are most likely to see animals while on the walking (sshhh) canopy tours. I don't think I would hang around a zip line myself with people hootin and hollerin all day. Many of them combine bridges hanging over the canopy as well as hiking/walking on the ground to give you the best views of all parts of the forests.
