I love PV... but would l like Paradise Village?

I'm trying to find a family vacation (two kids 11, 13) spot in warm location for Easter. We've been to PV three times in the past - but the last time was about 5 years ago. We loved the combination of great weather, great dining, culture and activities...but the beach really wasn't the best. (We've stayed at Velas Vallarta, the Westin and Mismaloya.) I've heard that Nuevo has nice beaches and the Paradise Village is the place to stay. How far is downtown Pv? What do you think of the place?

To answer your distance question, Nuevo Vallarta is ~1/2 hour drive north from downtown PV.

Sorry I'm not familiar with the hotels out that way to comment on Paradise Village.

Hi Just got back in December from P. Vallarta stayed at the Fiesta Americana was there back in March also stayed at the Camino Real I spoke to a few people who stayed at the Paradise Village Resort they loved it. Only drawback is that it is so far from town. If you don't mind staying there most of the time then I'm sure it would be fine. If however you would like to be close to town then I would suggest the Camino Real the beach there is incredible. The mountains go right onto the beach the beach is great the water is great there also. It is about 5 minutes by cab into town. Check out reports on trip advisor .com. Good luck

While in PV I met people who stayed at Paradise Village and they absolutely loved it. It is a distance from downtown but they do have tours that leave from the property.

Would you suggest Paradise Village Resort for a solo looking for a spa experience? Prices more reasonable than USA spas..Thanks
