HWYS OPEN?
Regarding driving in CR. Does anyone know in what spots Hwy 27 is closed? I also hear part of Hwy 32 towads the Carribean is closed due to landslides. Updates?

The kicker with the new highway to the Pacific is that the sections are closed that let you avoid the twists and turns of the old route. All the tollbooths are open, though, so even if you take the detours, you have to pay the full toll.
The highway to the Caribbean is open right now, but has been closed off and on in recent days because of landslides. School vacations are about to start and everybody will be heading for the beaches. |
