Hualtuco ends in March???

Hello,
I am looking to book a trip to Hualtuco the last week of March 2004 but have been told by a travel agent that all flights end (from Toronto) in the middle of March. Has anyone ever heard of this or know why? Does all of Hualtuco close at the end of March?
Thanks :)

Guessing, I suspect the peak season is over and the flights are seasonal or there is not enough demand on that route. Anyway Huatulco doesn't shut down, however it is very different in the off seaon. If you want to fly there, nothing is keeping you from flying into Mexico City and catching a flight on Mexicana, Aeromexico, whatever.

Yeah, you're probably right. It probably is the off season. I can't believe it's so early though. That's too bad.

I am flying from Toronto.

Starting April 29 2004 they will be direct flight to Huatulco out of Vancouver.
My Travel Agent just gave me this news about 2 weeks ago.

I just got back from Morelia and Huatulco (will post a report soon) - April is the high season for Huatulco. I connected through Mexico City.
