How to get from 1 airport to other in SJ and cost?

Hi -
We have options but one is flying Nature Air and then having to get to the other airport for an international flight (to El Salvador).

Is there any way to get between the 2 airports other than taxi? If so how and what is the cost?

How much would a taxi be?

How long should we plan on that transfer itself taking?

Thanks.

You can do a pre-arranged private transfer, though it will cost a little more. The cab is around $20. Private transfer is $35 - 40, depending on who you use. Costa Rica Transportation is reputable and reliable: [email protected]. The transfer time depends on traffic. It can take as little as 20 minutes, or as long as 1 hour (could be more if there is an accident).

We usually take Sansa for that reason; it's right next to the SJO airport so more convenient.

I use to fly Sansa on a regular basis, but will never fly with them again. They are notorious for over-booking flights and bumping passengers. When they do so, they leave people stranded without assistance. That is not to say that Nature Air has never over-booked, but in my experience, when they do so they take care of their customers.

I've read horror stories about Nature Air too; unfortunately neither one has a monopoly on that.

You don't mention day of week or time of day. That would make a difference in terms of how much traffic to expect.

Well if we take Nature we will be traveling from 1 airport to the other on a Friday about 12:30pm.
