How Far is Cozumel from Playa Del Carmen?
 
Can someone help me with travel distance? How far away is Cozumel from Playa Del Carmen? If we stayed in PDC first, then wanted to go to Cozumel, what is the best way to travel there?

Cozumel is a few miles off the coast from PDC. You can see the glow of the high-rises at night, across the sea.

The ferry to Cozumel leaves from PDC.

There is ferry service to/from PDC & Cozumel. Currently the cost is $7.50 per person, each way and the trip takes about 45 minutes.
