We are a party of 10 and wondered if anyone had good experiences with renting a large (5-6) bedroom beachfront house in/near Tamarindo. Any suggestions are welcome.

I stayed at this place a few years ago...and would go back in a heart beat! It might be listed on a few other websites as well...if you do a search you can probably find it. The house is amazing...it can comfortably sleep 10 people...has an amazing pool and hot tub...open-air living room, ktichen, and showers...amazing view perched above the beach across the street...maid service...on-site security...optional chef...I could go on and on! I don't think there are villas right on the beach...most of them seemed to be perched above the beach across the street. Check it out...and let me know if you want more info. Good luck!

Thanks. We called them today. I'm afraid I may be trying to reserve this too late b/c the other dozen or so houses I've inquired about are already rented.

Also try VRBO = Vacation Rental by Owner. This site has multiple listing for the Tamarindo area as well as other nearby locations. Good luck and have fun!
