hotels in Puerto Viejo

Can anyone recommend a place in Puerto Viejo for me & the hubby. Doesn't have to be luxury, but I think we need a/c & maybe a pool. Wireless access, even if only in the lobby, would be good, also.
Something moderately priced.
Thanks!

Look into Banana Azul. I just booked there myself for end of May and has everything you request (though I think only 1-2 rooms have a/c). It gets high marks here on the forums and at tripadvisor.

Pools at Azania, Cariblue, and Le Chameleon the best.
Pick one of those based on your price point.
Le Chameleon my fav.

Rooms at Le Cameleon run around $250-$350, not really what I consider moderately priced, personally. I am sure it's a nice place but looking at the rooms it leaves me kind of cold.

Banana Azul is great and they have a lovely pool and pond to enjoy. Better than Azania or Cariblue, IMO.
