Concorde,
I live in Sao Paulo, where the Unique hotel is and IMO it is very nice, gorgeous desing, fancy restaurant in the roof. My question is: what is the main purpose you have chosen the Unique?

My boyfriend and I chose the Unique because we wanted a hotel in a good location with a pool and world class restaurant.
Also, we heard that at night, the pool area on the upper deck turns into a nightclub!
We are welcome to more suggestions on upscale places to hang out! We are in our late forties, and love to hang out and PARTY!

WOW!! This will be fun!! I think The Unique is the right choice in this case.
How many days are you planning to be in Sao Paulo? Let me know and I'll be happy to suggest you some places.

Thank-you. You are so kind.
We will be in Sao Paulo for only 4 days and then on to Argentina for 10 days.
I've done some research on a few restaurants in Sao Paulo..and had a look at the Edifico Italia Bar..is it worth going there, if only for the view?
Also, the concierge at the Unique has been helpful, but if you know of any other upscale places, I would be most appreciative.

The Edificio Italia Bar is definitively worthwhile. Great view. Great food too. Regarding restaurants I would suggest Chakras (address is Rua Melo Alves, 294 - phone 55-11-3062.8813. Very unique experience. This is a multicultural / restaurant place where the menu is based on the French and Italian cuisine with an oriental touch. Good luck.

LuArruda,

Had a look at Chakras on the Web. Looks like a hip place to hang out! I like the 'dorming restaurant concept', which allows one to dine on beds!
Thanks for your suggestions.
