Hotel Recommendations for Barra de Navidad
 

We plan to be in the Melaque / Barra de Navidad area for 3 nights in mid-February. Any recommendations for hotels in Barra de Navidad? I understand it's nicer (maybe prettier?) than Melaque. We'd like to spend no more than $65 USD (ideally less than that). Thanks in advance.

About the same as Melaque an don the same bay!<BR><BR>Hotel Delfin or the Hotel Sands!

Well I'd argue that it is nicer than Melque as we much preferred Melaque. But that is just my opinion. Lots of place to stay. Check out the Costa Alegre site. Regardless, have a great time.

Definitely Melaque. Go to Terrazo Cortez on the beach for lunch. Nice people, good food. Barra is nore for shopping &amp; eating but I'd stay in Melaque. They are on the same surve of beach but more acommodations on Melaque.
