Hotel recommendation for PV

Hotel recommendation for PV
We are planning a short trip to Puerto Vallarta in March (4 days). I'm looking for a hotel that is not AI, on the beach and within walking distance to town. Any recommendations?

Just got back from P.V. Sunday night stayed at the Sheraton the only hotel I can recommend that is within walking distance. They are not an AI unless you want it then they have some kind of food plan. It is a very nice hotel we have been going for years. Check it out!!!

Molina de Agua is a wonderful location in the Romantica Zone. It is walking distance most anything and especially the wonderful restaurants and the Malecon. Hotel Rosita is at the Northern end of the Malecon but does not have a good beach (rocks). Playa Los Arcos is on Los Muertos beach and has dancing and entertainment on site.
Molina de Agua is the most charming of the three above.
